I was in Ottawa today being taped for a short segment of Michael Coren’s show The Arena on Sun TV which airs 7-8pm EST. If you catch it, please let me know what you thought. And if you have suggestions for improvement they’d be appreciated too.
Michael took up the lastest attack on religious freedom with the Mayor of Boston vowing to keep Chick-fil-A restaurants out of his city based on the Christian company’s support for traditional marriage.
Here were my talking points: (didn’t quite get to all of them but did my best)
All this talk about how is gay marriage going to affect you? Well here is the answer. It will stop you from being able to live out your faith in public. It is a threat to freedom of religion.

It’s DISCRIMINATION against Christians BIG TIME.
It’s a lie to say Christians hate. Chirstians don’t hate. They love. They love enough to say this behaviour is harmful. It hurts your body and your soul.
Keep your Christianity in the closet!!!
We’re losing sense of order and respect for each other
This stuff is dangerous, it is sweeping aside our freedoms. This trend will harm everyone making North America a far less democratic and safe place to live in

They’re all exercising their freedom to publicly support gay marriage, why is Chick fil A not allowed to exercise it’s freedom to support marriage between one man and one woman?
