Last week on a Sun TV Byline segment, host Brian Lilley and analyst John Robson revealed the disturbing overall agenda behind the Alberta and other recent provincial developments on education.

“There is an attempt”, starts Lilley, “to take over, intrude too much, trying to mold our children in ways that we’ve never asked the schools to.”

Lilley quotes from a recent LifeSiteNews interview with a spokeswoman for the Alberta Minister of Education and notes that the new legislation would require even homeschooling parents to follow the Alberta Human Rights code in giving instruction to their children.

He continues, that “we’ve got the GSA (gay straight alliances) thing in Ontario, we’ve got a radical sex-ed program in BC and parents are told you don’t have any rights. You can’t take your kids out of it.” Lilley does not get around to also mentioning the crushing of parental rights in Quebec and the recent Supreme Court decision against some of those parents.

Analyst John Robson responds, “this is the idea, to take education out of the hands of parents and put it into the hands of the state in order to do it differently”.

Robson also mentions the great ideologue of modern education, John Dewey, who Lilley says was “evil”.

Also quoted is US president Woodrow Wilson’s statement in response to the question, “what is the goal of a liberal education.” Wilson, says Robson, stated, “it is to make a man as unlike his father (and mother) as possible”. They’re still at it, says the Sun TV analyst.

Watch the program segment video. Pass this link on to others so they will realize how serious this stuff is. Parental rights are now in greater danger in Canada and elsewhere, than ever before in recent history.

Also, Sun TV is highly recommended as a frequent source of reliable news on life and family issues, completely unlike anything else on the airwaves. It is incredibly refreshing in its honesty.
