ONTARIO STUDENTS FOR LIFE CONFERENCE
Ontario Students for Life (OSFL) will be hosting their annual week-end conference this year from Friday, October 24, 1997 to Sunday, October 26, 1997 at Mary Ward Catholic Secondary School in Toronto.
OSFL is a student run, student driven, pro-life group that strives to unite, educate, and activate youth on life - related topics (abortion, euthanasia, chastity, contraception, etc). This year, the conference promises to be the biggest and best yet. Confirmed speakers include, Michael Coren (a Toronto radio personality on CFRB 1010), Jason Kenney (a Reform MP from Calgary, who was cited in Maclean's magazine's 1996 version of 100 Canadians to watch for), Michelle Blanchette (the 23 yr. old executive director of Alliance for Life), and the Missionaries of the Pre-Born (a pro-life tandem from Milwaukee).
The conference organizers are hoping for 500-600 delegates and are appealling for your support to help them realize this lofty goal. If you are able to promote the conference in your region of the province, or if you know young people (high school and university aged) who would be interested in attending this conference please get in contact with Kevin de Souza at his e-mail address - - or give him a call at (416) 298-2305.
