VANCOUVER (LSN) - The Attorney-General for the province of BC, Ujjal Dosanjh, yesterday called on the Federal Parliament to debate the issue of euthanasia. Dosanjh claimed to be a friend of Dr. Thakore who supposedly committed suicide on the weekend with the assistance of Dr. Jack Kevorkian. However, his death has been recorded as a homicide.

Oakland county's chief medical examiner, L.G. Dragovic, has classified the death of Dr. Thakore as homicide, noting that since Thakore suffered from tremors caused by Parkinson's disease, the poisonous injection would have to have been administered by another party. Further, the barbituates he had consumed would have rendered him unconscious.
