SUSPICIOUS PRO-ABORT ATTEMPTS TO STEER MURDER INVESTIGATION TO PRO-LIFERS
HAMILTON, Dec 9 (LSN) - Will Offley, a radical pro-abortion activist and former security guard at a Vancouver abortuary, has undertaken a campaign to implicate the Christian Heritage Party and Campaign Life Coalition in recent violence against abortionists. Offley was interviewed by both CBC radio and the Hamilton Spectator and permitted to launch his slanderous accusations against pro-lifers without the pro-lifers having equal opportunity to respond. Using information from messages sent to the Hamilton Spectator by someone claiming to be involved in the shooting of abortionists, Offley wrote the RCMP, trying to draw associations to the Christian Heritage Party.
Offley drew police attention to a note in the packages received by the Spectator saying that "a tactical meeting" was to be held in Vancouver in November and claimed a connection to the CHP meeting in Vancouver last month. To support his intended allegation that the CHP is linked to the Slepian murder or at least the threatening letters received by the Spectator, Offley said the CHP invited Jim Hughes, national president of Campaign Life Coalition to address its meeting, thus implicating Campaign Life as well.
The extremely professional manner of the shootings, the inability of North America's elite police forces to solve these crimes, the constant delivery of the bizarre letters to the Hamilton Spectator and most significantly, the huge benefit to the pro-abortion movement of all this has led some pro-life leaders to suspect that abortion sympathizers or extreme left-wing radicals may be behind the shootings or at least the Hamilton letters. The willingness of the CBC and the Spectator to give such a disreputable and strongly pro-abortion character as Offley a free platform as a supposed "authority on the pro-life movement" would seem to be part of a shameless campaign to "get the pro-lifers". Such suspicions were strengthened in recent weeks when a radical pro-choice group in the United States, Refuse and Resist, refused to assist the FBI in their ongoing investigation into the murder of Dr. Barnett Slepian. Police were wanting to interview two men from the group but they refused to cooperate. Interestingly, Refuse and Resist is linked to Will Offley of the BC Coalition for Abortion Clinics. Offley has supplied information to R&R and is thanked on their web site for his material.

HUMAN CLONING IN BRITAIN?
LONDON, Dec 9 (LSN) A group of scientists hired by the British government to review the country's policy on cloning released their report yesterday in which they urge the government to drop their strong stand against human cloning. While not agreeing to allow full cloning of human beings, the group recommended Britain allow human cells to be cloned. Pro-life groups reacted immediately condemning the report since the material used for the cloning of human cells comes from aborted embryos.
In a related story Japanese researchers reported yesterday that they have cloned an adult cow and produced 8 genetically identical calves.
