WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (LSN) - Many speculators on US President Clinton's sex scandal have suggested that he may be forced to leave office. In that case US Vice President Al Gore would assume the presidency. But Gore's aggressively pro-abortion and anti-family stance is just as strong if not stronger than Clinton's.

Al Gore is one of the world's foremost proponents of abortion and population control. Last October, Gore called a White House "global-warming" conference where he warned that "overpopulation" was one of the main contributing factors to the environmental threat. The Washington Times reported Gore as saying, "Third World nations are producing too many children too fast... it is time to ignore the controversy over family planning and cut out-of-control population growth..." When asked how to go about this he suggested expanding birth control and abortion programs in developing countries.

Last Thursday, Gore celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision speaking at a luncheon held by the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL). In his talk, Gore trumpeted abortion "rights" and suggested that the only solution to reducing abortion would be increased "family planning." Gore proposed increasing family planning funds by $15 million to $218 million.

In September of last year, Gore told the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force that they have his commitment to work as hard as he can to stop "anti-gay hate crimes" and end workplace "discrimination." As a further example of his pandering to those who promote homosexuality, in October Gore lauded the controversial show "Ellen," saying, "when the character Ellen came out, millions of American were forced to look at sexual orientation in a more open light."
