An Interview With a Retired Abortionist

MELBOURNE, Florida Aug 31 (LSN) - Pro-lifers have often used the terminology of Satanic sacrifice and sacrament in order to describe the despicable act of killing innocent babies via abortion. Comments such as Joe Scheidler's: "Today, as innocents are sacrificed on the altar of 'choice,'" are frequently used to show the eerie similarity between the traditional Satanic practice of sacrificing innocent children and abortion. Strangely abortionists themselves have referred to abortion as a "sacrament."

In an interview Sunday with Florida Today, Patricia Baird-Windle an outspoken abortion proponent and owner of 3 abortuaries, said she considers "abortion to be a major blessing, and to be a sacrament in the hands of women." "At the very crucible of the sacrament of abortion work," said Baird-Windle, "is that some women have an abortion out of love for the baby, [some] out of love for the children they already have and are having a hard time feeding. They love what they are getting from their education and they know they can't stop it."

Interestingly, during the interview in which Baird-Windle announced her retirement, but proudly acknowledged her responsibility in 65,000 abortions, she denounced the abortifacient, RU-486. "RU-486 is painful. Women have a great deal of pain and nausea and many visits to the clinic," she said.
