RU-486 DISTRIBUTOR NOT WILLING TO COME TO CANADA
OTTAWA, Mar 15 (LSN) Despite receiving a letter from Health Canada assuring the company it would receive a fair hearing in Canada for the RU-486 abortion pill, Exelgyn says it will not submit the product for approval here without a formal request from the government. Pro-life forces are relieved at the news. They were outraged at the news of the government department's active role in the process because the Canadian Food and Drug Act says it is illegal for Health Canada to ask a company to submit a drug because it would give the perception of bias.
Catherine Euvrard, spokeswoman for Exelgyn, the Paris-based abortion-pill manufacturer, told the Globe and Mail yesterday, ""This is not an ordinary drug because abortion can be so controversial. We have to have a request for the drug, and we have never had a request from Canada." Pro-lifers are cautious in rejoicing over the news since the sincerity of the company is at best suspect. It is also probably not beyond Allan Rock's Department to find another way to encourage Exelgyn to come to Canada if they are committed to doing so.

HOMOSEXUAL PEDOPHILE RECEIVES 1 YEAR FOR SEX TORTURE
TORONTO, Mar 15 (LSN) Justice Dan Chilcott of the Ontario Court's General Division has become the latest judge to allow homosexual pedophiles off with a slap on the wrist. In an ever-growing trend, Chilcott sentenced Owen Dulmage, to only 1 year in prison for the "sexually sadistic" abduction of a 13-year-old boy.
Dulmage had already been convicted for similar offences and showed no remourse for the abduction and sex torture his victim. Excusing himself, the judge said that the light sentence was due to the age of the perpetrator who is now 77 (having finally been convicted of the offence he committed 39 years ago).

APA PUSHING PUBLIC TOLERANCE FOR PEDOPHILIA
LOS ANGELES, Mar 15 (LSN) - The American Psychiatric Association (APA) is pushing for public acceptance of pedophilia, according to an expose published in the March 4 issue of the Wanderer.
In its December newsletter, the National Association on Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) notes that the APA, in its latest diagnostic manual (DSM IV) has said that a pedophile does not have a psychological disorder unless he feels anxious about the molestation.
NARTH reveals that, in its July 1998 issue, the APA's Psychological Bulletin published a study by a team of academics from Temple University that has endorsed the view that adult-child sexual relations are beneficial for the child and adult. The study entitled, "A meta-Analytic Examination of Assumed Properties of Child Sexual Abuse Using College Samples," recommends drastic changes in the language used to describe sexual abuse. Bruce Rind, Philip Tromovitch, and Robert Bauserman, the authors of the study suggest psychologists stop using judgmental terms like "child abuse," "molestation," and "victims," using instead neutral terms like "adult-child sex."
While homosexual journals such as the renowned Journal of Homosexuality have long pushed for public approval of pedophilia, the work of the APA in this regard is an ominous development. In 1990 the Journal of Homosexuality devoted a special double issue to "Male Intergenerational Intimacy." In this issue, the public was told that male counselors trying to help troubled teenage boys could achieve "miracles not by preaching to them, but by sleeping with them." "Parents," said another article, "...should look upon the pedophile who loves their son 'not as a rival or competitor, not as a thief of their property, but as a partner in the boy's upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home."

UN SUGGESTS SEXUAL RIGHTS FOR "BOYS AND GIRLS"
UNITED NATIONS, Mar 15 (LSN) By the end of the latest session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) Friday, the radical internationalist pro-aborts revealed once again their desire to promote abortion and contraception to children.
Reporting from the UN in New York, the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute noted that a German delegate to the CSW, speaking for the European Union, pressed for replacing the term "young people" with the term "boys and girls." The speaker indicated that he wanted the "boys and girls" language to ensure that "sexual and reproductive rights" would include children younger than ten years old. The EU spokesman insisted, "We're very attached to 'boys and girls."
