TORONTO, Oct 20 (LSN.ca) - The substitution of a Halloween fundraiser for UNICEF which now goes to support the pro-life Toronto group Aid to Women, has enraged pro-abortion extremists. After an unsuccessful attempt by Kathleen Howes of the one member Canadian branch of "Catholics" for a Free Choice, to halt the arrangement last week, a pro-abortion provincial politician has stepped in. The National Post reports today that New Democrat MPP Frances Lankin sent a letter yesterday to the Toronto Catholic District School Board asking it to remove the fundraiser for Aid to Women.

In her letter Lankin echoed the libelous allegations of the Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics which issued a release yesterday attacking the Catholic school board for its decision and claiming that the pro-life group is "daily engaging in harassing women." Pro-abortion activists usually consider the offering of alternative information and solutions to women seeking abortions as being harassment.
