UPDATE AND ACTION ON PRO-LIFE MD IMPRISONED IN CUBA

HAVANA, Mar 10 (LSN.ca) - Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet, 38, the pro-life MD jailed in Cuba for three years for his pro-life activities and flying the Cuban flag upside down has been moved to a jail across the country. Catholic World News reported yesterday that the Communist government was transferring Biscet from detention in Havana to a prison in Holguin Province, around 450 miles away from his wife and family as an additional punishment. Biscet has refused his right to appeal knowing that the "biased" courts would do "no justice."

As LifeSite reported in February, Amnesty International has urged action behalf of Biscet.
