THE WAR AGAINST LIFE DYNAMICS HAS BEGUN
DENTON, TX, (LSN.ca) - Life Dynamics Inc. (LDI), the Texas pro-life group that was responsible for uncovering the ghoulish and illegal baby parts market is under severe attack by abortion supporters and their media allies. Abortion groups are following a classic guilty defensive strategy of targeting and undermining the credibility of the messenger of the bad news in order to divert attention away from honest examination of Life Dynamic's discovery. They are suggesting that LDI was using illegal tactics to gather their information and are falsifying accounts about "Kelly", the pro-life spy who was interviewed by 20/20 and who testified before US Congress.
Strangely, aiding the abortion movement in the charge that LDI is using illegal tactics is former abortion clinic owner, and supposed pro-life convert Eric Harrah. Harrah, who was fired by LDI for an unstated reason, approached Planned Parenthood with his claim that certain documents used in the Congressional hearing were stolen from a Planned Parenthood abortuary. Harrah also swore an affidavit (prepared by Planned Parenthood) to that effect, in which he alleges that a former employee was paid $1,500 to break into the abortuary after hours and steal information about body parts harvesting. LDI president Mark Crutcher denied the allegations, accusing Harrah of lying. Harrah also told the Kansas City Star that he told a member of the Senate Committee which was considering a hearing into the issue that the documents were stolen property.
LDI describes the US Congressional hearing into the matter a disaster. Pro-abortion Democrats used the session to badger "Kelly" whose real identity is Dean Alberty. The hearing went so badly that the meeting failed to discuss the marketing of baby parts, the very reason for it being called. Following the lead of the pro-abortion Democrats, the media falsely reported that Alberty was paid $20,000 by LDI for the "Kelly" interview when in fact he was paid less that $310 per month and, in total, including reimbursements for expenses, was paid $21,426.04 over two-and-one-half-years. Since Alberty did not see the tape of the "Kelly" interview until a year after is was recorded and could not remember the whole interview, he could not swear under oath that LDI did not alter it.
During the barrage of irate questions, Alberty admitted that he could not prove that some of the things he told Life Dynamics were true. However, almost all these allegations have been demonstrated by documentation provided by Life Dynamics. For example, on the "Kelly" tape Alberty claimed to know that his employer was profiting from the marketing of baby parts. When pressed by the pro-aborts at the hearing, he admitted that he had no personal knowledge or proof of this and had, therefore, lied to Life Dynamics. He did not "recant" as some have claimed and say that his employer was not profiting from the marketing of baby parts.
The exposing of the baby parts market has been one of the most successful interventions in the pro-life debate. The resulting change in tide against the abortion industry has outraged its profiteers. Apparently there are some in North America who believe that even this most ghoulish torture and killing of babies deserves to be protected and covered up.
