WASHINGTON, August 28, 2002 (LSN.ca) - Children of God for Life report that five big-name pharmaceuticals and the National Institutes of Health have acquired rights to use an aborted fetal cell line for the manufacture of new vaccines. Pfizer, Novartis, Schering-Plough, Glaxo SmithKline (formerly SmithKline Beecham), Aventis Pasteur and the NIH have purchased licensing agreements with Crucell to use its patented designer cell line PER C6 developed with aborted baby tissue.
