DOLLY'S CLONER WILL CREATE HUMAN CLONE OF LOU GEHRIG PATIENT FOR RESEARCH

EDINBURCH, April 11, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Ian Wilmut, the scientist credited with cloning Dolly the sheep, has announced he will seek permission to create a human clone of a Lou Gehrig patient in order to experiment on the cloned embryo. The Wall Street Journal reports that Wilmut does not intend to implant the cloned embryo, but to compare the embryo with the disease to healthy embryos.
