Interim Publishes Curriculum Supplements for Schools on Stem Cells and Christmas
Brief, quality pamphlets can be a big help to students and others in understanding issues

TORONTO, December 9, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Interim newspaper has been periodically producing brief, professionally drafted curriculum supplements for schools on public issues of the day. These supplements are sent to schools and offered as credible teaching aids for instruction on current issues. The supplements are primarily written by The Interim's Dan DiRocco, who has had many years of experience as an educator and was principal of three Toronto region high schools.
The November supplement is a 12-page overview of the complex and important stem cell issue, complete with excellent explanatory graphics. The supplement will help students to understand what is at stake in this controversy and provides solid facts to counter the increasing propaganda that is being targeted towards students and the general public on this issue.
The December supplement explores the issue of Christmas and the demeaning of the holy season by our secularist and consumer culture. The education aid answers modern criticisms of the feast of remembrance of the birth of Jesus and explains what should be the ideal emphasis by those celebrating the event. Suggested Christmas activities are presented along with considerations of the meaning of the season.
