VIETNAM APPROVES BAN ON ALL HUMAN CLONING

HANOI, February 18, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Vietnamese government has approved a ban on all human cloning. The law which will take effect May 1 also bans surrogacy and sex screening of embryos.

The law does permit in vitro fertilization. The Thanh Nien newspaper reported that one million couples seek fertility treatment in the country each year.
