RICHMOND, March 26, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Radically pro-abortion Virginia Governer Mark Warner has vetoed a bill allowing "Choose Life" license plates. Moreover, Warner also inserted a health exception into a bill barring 'partial birth infanticide' and made it easier to bypass a law on parental consent for abortion on minors.

The bills on partial birth infanticide and parental consent passed both legislatures by such wide margins proponents of the bills believe legislators may be able to approve the measures by a veto-proof margin. That will require a two thirds majority at both levels of the legislature.
