OTTAWA, October 2, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - LifeSite has learned that the pernicious omnibus stem cell Bill C-13 is scheduled for resumed third reading debate on Friday. While Pro-life leaders are warning that the vote on the legislation could come at any time, tomorrow included.

Karen Murawsky, Public Affairs Director of Campaign Life Coalition, told LifeSite that pro-lifers across the country are praying for the courageous politicians protecting the right to life by fighting the legislation. "We stand with them in our prayers," she said.

Bill C-13, an omnibus bill addresses human reproductive technology, such as embryonic stem cell research. The fatally flawed legislation permits the specific creation of new human beings for experimentation; it allows certain forms of human cloning while banning others; it allows research on aborted baby body parts; it sanctions destructive research on human embryos.
