Canadian Parliament to Resume February 2 - No Mention Yet of Resurrecting Bill C-13

OTTAWA, January 8, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Prime Minister Paul Martin has announced that parliament will resume sitting on February 2. Martin is said to want to have an ambitious term, however most political insiders suggest he will call an election shortly after passage of a law which will reset the federal riding boundaries.

Of note Martin told reporters that some bills would be reintroduced including the bill to decriminalize possession of marijuana in the amount of 15 grams. He did not however mention the controversial stem cell legislation bill C-13.
