OTTAWA, January 9, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A spokesman for Prime Minister Paul Martin told reporters yesterday he would reintroduce stem cell omnibus bill C-13. The bill will come back at the Senate stage having already passed the House. Even though the spokesman said the bill was a priority, he was unsure of its passage given the tight timeline prior to the election being called. "This one is also at the top of the list but there is a batting order," said Lague. "There is a timing issue. Your guess is as good as mine right now (whether it will pass)."
