OTTAWA, June 11, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Radio and television campaign ads by the Liberal Party are maintaining abortion as a central part of the Liberal campaign. The latest ad features a woman's voice saying of Conservative Leader Stephen Harper, "He won't protect a woman's right to choose."

The Liberal pro-abortion campaign strategy seems all-pervasive as Prime Minister Paul Martin has reiterated his support for abortion numerous times in recent days. A Canadian Press story indicates that in a speech today to the Women's Executive Network Luncheon at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto Martin again vowed his support for abortion.

Even left-leaning media have suggested that the negative attack ads and the Liberals' almost fanatical obsession with abortion and gay marriage are backfiring on the Liberals and new polls indicate a Tory government in the offing.
