Charles Mcvety of defendMARRIAGE invites pro-marriage Canadians to a major fundraising dinner this coming Monday at 7 p.m. at Canada Christian College, 50 Gervais Drive in Toronto. Featured speakers include former Alliance Party leader and now MP, Stockwell Day, Senator Anne Cools whose address will be “Why This Battle Must be Fought”, Fr. Tom Lynch, Roy Beyer and others.

* No Matter How Many Constituents Protest I’ll Support Gay ‘Marriage’ Says Fisheries Minister
Last Saturday about 125 people meet with Halifax MP Geoff Regan, the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, at the Rockingham Community Center. There was an (almost) unanimous show of support for the traditional definition of marriage. In that one hour, many people, including several local pastors, urged Mr. Regan to vote according to the wishes of the majority of his constituents. He steadfastly said he would not - even if thousands had turned out against SSM. He said he will vote as the Prime Minister’s Office requires him to vote.

* Kamloops BC Bishop David Monroe encouraged Catholics in his diocese Sunday to tell their parliamentarians that the Catholic faith does not permit a change in the traditional structure of marriage.
