The conference, hosted by Campagne Quebec Vie and sponsored by Campaign Life Coalition and LifeCanada will feature 10 plenary sessions Thursday night, Friday and Saturday involving over 30 distinguished speakers.
Session topics will include 1. Religious perspectives on life and family, 2. The Canadian media, 3. The effects of abortion on women, 4. Euthanasia and palliative care, 5. The family and marriage in crisis, 6. John Paul II on life and family, 7. The responsibility of politicians, 8. Stem cell research, 9. Today’s cultural battle, 10. Campaigne Quebec Vie president, Luc Gagnon spoke with LifeSiteNews, com about some of the speakers. He noted that speaker Gilles Noel is a founder and the leader of the totally pro-life Christian Democracy Party of Quebec which was founded two years ago. Noel was influenced by the late Gilles Grondin to found this party. Dr. Joseph Ayoub will address the issue of euthanasia. He is an oncologist who faces the issue on a daily basis. He was the last physician for the late Quebec Premier Robert Bourassa.
Speaker Dr. Gerard Monfette is a urologist from St. Jerome, Quebec. Gagnon, encourages attendees to register as quickly as possible. The full conference fee $125 for adults and $75 for students and youth. Friday or Saturday only is $60 and $40.
