Two New York Sisters of Life from Toronto, Sister John Mary (standing - formerly Kathleen Ross, president of Ontario Students for Life) and Marissa de Souza (seated in middle, sister of journalist Father Raymond de Souza) jumped up and shouted hello to LifeSiteNews journalist Steve Jalsevac.
2 ladies from Rhode Island diocese of Providence, Our lady of Mount Carmel group. Came in convoy of 5 buses that took 7 hours to get to Basilica.	Some tired young pilgrims playing cards in the lower church area where there were sleeping accomodations on the floor. The Basilica and The Catholic University of America hosted more than 1,600 high school students and others overnight
These students in red shirts are praying in one of the many side chapels in the lower church. They are part of a group of 250 students that came in 5 buses on a 20 hour trip from Debuque, Aquin, Beckman, LaSalle and Seton, Iowa.
