RE: Morgentaler Order of Canada

Dear Editor,

I just wanted to let you know that the Order of Canada controversy has actually been a blessing to the Waterloo Region in terms of finally breaking the silence and media censorship about abortion. It has allowed an intellectual debate to finally occur in the editorial pages of our main newspaper in the K-W area (the Record). It might even make for a motivating success story of sorts for your readers.

Here are some stats I tallied up to show the impressive amount of space our liberally-biased newspaper has given to pro-life letters. These stats cover the period of July 1 to Aug 14, not counting Sundays, when there's no paper.

- Number of publishing days = 38
- Number of letters to the editor that were pro-life = 30
- Number of days with letters to the editor that were pro-life = 18 (or 47%)
- Number of days with letters to the editor that were pro-life or had Record articles about the Order of Canada controversy = 22 (or 58%)

The Record serves a population of 500,000 (Waterloo Region). Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more!

God bless,
Jack Fonseca

RE: Homosexual Lord of the Rings Star McKellen Blasts Catholic Bishop for Remarks on "Gay Lobby"
http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/aug/08081106.html

Dear Editor

Sir Ian McKellen thinks that his homosexuality is "inborn" and a "God given nature."  My son was born with a bad temper, which was evident from the very first.  Does that mean it is ok to go through life throwing temper tantrums?

Bishop Devine knows what he is talking about and he is a true Apostle of Christ. Anyone who has ever attended the Dykes on Bikes parade in San Diego knows how indecent these people behave in public places.  They carry signs that are sexually explicit so that even children can see.  My son who is in the Navy happened to be out in a bar where he unsuspectingly witnessed a gay party where men and women were taking their clothes off and engaging in all kinds of lewd sexual behavior.  Homosexuals don't just want to promote their way of life as normal but are obnoxious in how they behave, flaunting it in people's faces.

Prophecies given at approved sites of apparitions back in the l980's said that governments would come to protect homosexual unions.  We are now seeing this come to pass twenty years later.

Sir Ian McKellen deserves our prayers, that he and those like him come to know the truth before it is too late.  From observing the signs it sure looks like God's patience is running out.

RE: "Why I Love the Baby of the Man Who Raped Me"
http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/aug/08081203.html

Dear Editor,

Your story, "Why I love the baby of the man who raped me," is amazing and inspiring.  A true testament to courage and conviction.

The actions of Canada's Human Rights Commissions is a tale of on-going tyranny, abuse of human rights, selective concern for human rights, the silencing of free speech, and a shabby excuse for democracy, yet Canada's government in Ottawa spinelessly remains silent on the issue and evidently condones what occurs.
