The Final Stretch
Our fundraising campaign is in the final stretch.
So far, 925 LifeSiteNews reader have donated a total of $49,123 for an average donation of about $49 in response to our Christmas campaign.
This has been one of our most successful fundraising years ever, but it has not come to an end yet! More is needed. If everyone pitches in before the New Year our readers may yet cover the majority or even all of our expenses for the past year,
Have you made a donation yet?
Stop for a moment and ask yourself: During the last year, did you learn something valuable from LifeSiteNews' reporting? Would you be disappointed if we were unable to continue providing this service?
Without the sustained generosity of our readers, this news service - the only one of its kind in the world - could not go on.
So why not take the step and send us a gift of whatever amount today?
With your help not only will LifeSiteNews be able to continue, but we will be able to implement many improvements, dramatically increasing our already significant positive impact in building a culture of life.

There are numerous expenses looming in the New Year. Some of these are the costs related to travelling to and covering important events in different countries. These trips are vitally important opportunities for personally interviewing key people, developing our network of contacts and producing our unique reports on the most important developments.
In January John-Henry Westen, Kathleen Gilbert and I will be travelling to Washington, D.C. to cover the March for Life and its many related events. At the March we will be able to personally meet and talk with most of the leading North American pro-life leaders. We may also attempt to attend the inauguration of President Obama, time and finances permitting.
At the same time, Matthew Hoffman will fly from Northern Mexico to cover a major conference on the family being held in Mexico City.
John-Henry will likely attend the Pontifical Council on the Family meetings in Rome early in 2009. He will of course also meet with our Rome correspondent, Hilary White. She has been doing an outstanding job keeping you informed on developments there and in other parts of Europe. Both John-Henry and I have been asked to attend a few other important events in Europe next year related to the issues we cover.
These working trips, which greatly add to the news reports we publish for you, have many unavoidable and significant expenses related to them. We need your financial support in order to bring you the firsthand information and insights that we gather at these events.
Next week LifeSiteNews is being moved to a larger Internet server. This has become necessary because the volume of traffic and content has reached the limit of our current server. Significant setup and increased monthly rental costs are associated with the move.
A major revision to our Crisis Pregnancy resources web page is almost completed. That has been ongoing for the past few months. We are also meeting early in January to discuss the implementation of other, much needed additions and improvements.
There is a lot more to relate, but the above gives you some additional ideas about why we need significant financial support from our readers.
You can count on us to bring you the best pro-life, pro-family related news reporting in the world. We are passionately dedicated to that mission.
Can we in turn count on you to help us fulfill that mission?
Please give a Christmas gift to LifeSiteNews of
$5, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $5,000, $10,000 or whatever
- for life, family and truth.
