"Disorder of Canada" Website Launched To "Encourage Canada's Best To Return These Abortion Tainted Medals"
By Thaddeus M. Baklinski
VERNON, B.C., July 17, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - James Love, a former United Church minister and convert to Roman Catholicism, has launched a website (http://www.disorderofcanada.com/) "to facilitate legal, non-malicious, and civil discourse between average Canadians and members of the Order of Canada. The sole purpose of this site is to, in a highly respectful and peaceable manner, persuade members of the Order of Canada who oppose the recognition of arch-abortionist Henry Morgentaler in the Order to return their Medals."
Mr. Love explains his personal reasons for creating the site (http://www.disorderofcanada.com/about_us.php) and expresses his hope that ordinary Canadians may persuade those who have received the medal - "the best among us" - to reconsider its meaning and purpose.
"Members of the Order of Canada are a reflection of what makes Canada a great human community," said Love. "It is people in service of other human beings, especially the most vulnerable among us, that makes a human community great. I therefore encourage the best among us to continue their lives of sacrifice and humanity by rejecting these medals which have been tarnished with the inclusion of one of Canada's worst examples, Henry Morgentaler.
"This symbolic act will encourage many others to stand up for a culture of life in Canada and embolden a new generation to live lives of service and sacrifice for others, especially the next generation and those who are yet to be conceived. We ordinary Canadians await your continuing example of what makes Canada a great nation. We encourage you to join the growing number of Members returning their medals."
Love also explains where the name of his website comes from. "It was Rabbi Yehuda Levin who gave me the idea for the name of this web site. He said, 'I think that the award presented to Dr. Death Morgentaler should more aptly be called the 'Disorder of Canada' because it's a terrible reflection on a country that can honor a person based on his elimination - self-professed elimination of 100,000 preborn children.'" The interview with Rabbi Levin, in which he made the remarks, was an exclusive LifeSiteNews.com interview.
