There is plenty of important news to report today.

The story about the Halton (near Toronto) Catholic School Board decision to reverse its Gardasil HPV vaccine policy is exceptional news. It is very unusual for elected officials to admit to having made an error of judgment and to vote to reverse their previous very public decision. That takes genuine humility and class. Especially worthy of praise is trustee Joanne Matters who was most responsible for the boards action.
