RSS Feed Address Change, LifeSiteNews Search Working, Yahoo, Rogers Email Problem Solution
By Steve Jalsevac
RS Feed Address Change
For those who have been using our handy RSS feed, we just discovered the change from LifeSite.net to LifeSiteNews.com has caused a problem. The Internet address of the LifeSiteNews RSS feed is now http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/rss/headlines.xml rather than the old url that had lifesite.net in it. Please make the change to the new url in your RSS utility so that you can continue to automatically receive LifeSiteNews reports as they are posted on our website.
LifeSiteNews Search Working Again
You will find that the LifeSiteNews Search is once again producing excellent results. There are still some problems to be resolved but the Search utility now returns most of the articles related to your inputed search criteria.
Google is still not including LifeSiteNews in their news services listing. LifeSiteNews completely dropped out of Google News since the changeover to LifeSiteNews from LifeSite.net. Apparently the change takes some time to take effect after the submission to Google of an address change.
Yahoo and Rogers Email Problem Solution
We previously mentioned that some Yahoo and Rogers Daily News email subscribers were not getting our emails because they were automatically being put into the Junk folder by Yahoo. We learned of a simple solution to the problem from a reader.
Go into your online account and then look for a LifeSiteNews email in the Junk folder. Highlight the line and right click your mouse button. A menu will pop up from which you should select "This is not spam". The email will then be moved to your inbox and be delivered to your computer.
Doing this perhaps with a few more LifeSiteNews emails will allow Yahoo Mail to learn not to place LifeSiteNews emails into the Junk folder.
