International Pro-Life Conference "Creating a Culture of Life" Kicks Off This Thursday

TORONTO, September 29, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - One of the most important aspects of this year's International Pro-Life Conference "Creating a Culture of Life" is the opportunity to personally meet pro-life leaders from around the world and to join and participate in the network of groups and individuals who promote the culture of life.
This Thursday, October 2nd, at 7:00 p.m., meet Joanne Byfield, active in Canada's pro-life movement for almost twenty years, Jim Hughes, International Right to Life vice-president and president of Campaign Life Coalition Canada, and Dr. Jack Willke, president of Life Issues Institute and the International Right to Life Federation and author of Handbook on Abortion.
These world-renowned champions of life will speak at the Opening Session of the International Pro-life Conference, which will be followed by a Reception at 9:00 p.m.
The opportunity to get to know people as diverse as Georgette Forney, co-founder of Silent No More Awareness Campaign and Lech Kowalewski, Co-founder Polish Federation of Pro-Life Movements is an occasion not to be missed.
For Catholics there will be Masses on Friday and Saturday morning with two bishops - Bishop DeAngelis of Peterborough and Bishop Hunt, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto.
