WASHINGTON, April 24, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Three stars of the silver screen and the entertainment industry, looked up to and admired by countless children and teenagers, have sent a positive message to their fans about the homosexual lifestyle.

Statements from Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus were issued in the wake of the Miss America beauty pageant controversy, where Miss California’s Carrie Prejean was denied the competition’s crown and called a “dumb b*tch” by a homosexual judge for announcing her support for true marriage. The judge, who calls himself “Perez Hilton,” has since been trying to gain support for his condemnation of Preejan from celebrities by asking them to weigh in on the issue.

Cyrus and Spears both responded to Hilton’s request for their thoughts on same-sex “marriage,” using messages broadcast on Twitter.com to condone the homosexual lifestyle.

“Love is love!” said Spears. “People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!”

Cyrus, who has a huge child fan base because of her star role in Disney’s “Hannah Montana,” told her fans:

“Jesus loves you AND your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! thats like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz hes gay and that is WRONG and very sad! like I said everyone deserves to be happy.”

In related news, X-Men star Hugh Jackman, who plays the character Wolverine and is starring in the upcoming film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, told Parade magazine, in response to rumors that he is homosexual:

“I’d be happy to go and deny being gay, because I’m not. But by denying it, I’m saying there is something shameful about it, and there isn’t anything shameful.

“The questions about sexuality I find more in America than anywhere else, because it’s a big hang-up and defines what people think about themselves and others.

“It’s not a big issue in Australia.”
