News

Dear Creators of LifeSiteNews,

I’ve long wanted to write to you and tell you what an amazing job you are all doing! Every day I open my e-mail account, knowing that my LifeSiteNews articles will be there, and it brings me great joy knowing there are many people fighting for the pro-life cause. This is one of, if not the most important cause in the world, and I truly appreciate all the thought and time that goes into the articles and the updates.

Theresa has informed me that you currently receive much hate mail by those who firmly support President Barack Obama. And I want to thank you that, in this politically controversial time, you rightfully keep the public informed of President Obama’s anti-life stance and pro-abortion movements. I believe it is extremely important for people, many of whom are oblivious to his positions, to become aware of how extremely pro-abortion he is, and LifeSiteNews’ e-mails are a major step to doing so.

Keep up the great work and the fantastic articles! I know that this is hard work and it definitely shows in all the e-mails.

Much love and prayers,
Virlana Shchuka.

Dear Editor

I was very moved by the video from Catholicvote.org about Obama. “Life, Imagine the potential”. I think it is a fantastic slogan. We, need, here in Spain a kind of reorentation of the prolife movement, which is, at this moment, demotivated.

The promotion of life, needs to be taken to its fullness by promoting a positive look at human life and dependency of the weak from the strong. They teach us more than we teach them.

Thank you for your website. I keep track of everything you post there.

By the way, I pray that this “most abortionist” president in the history of the United States, will lose the battle agains the pro-life movement, soon.

Best regards

Dear Editor,

Can I ask how George Bush could be considered a genuine pro-life advocate when his willingness to sign death warrants in Texas jails was legendary?

The thousands of lives lost in Iraq and those of innocent Palestinians lost through his administration’s blind support of Israeli genocide also causes tremendous pain. These are not pro-life policies!

On the issue of abortion his stance was indeed welcome but as you indicated, too muted.

Now there is another President who, whilst maybe avoiding wars, will promote infanticide across the world in numbers which may make the blood spilled in Iraq etc. seem like a warm-up act. The difference being that he can speak well and has the adulation of millions, for reasons which are still hard to comprehend. Just because he’s not George Bush? Even ‘pro-lifers’ are prepared to vote for his policies!

Why can’t we get politicians who are genuinely pro-life and yet not extremists in other ways?

Is there a successful functioning political party anywhere in this world which is genuinely 100% pro life? Even the ‘moderates’ appear to be afraid to stand up and  publicly reject the notion of ‘the right to choose … to murder a baby.’ As unbelievable as that may seem.

Your news service is invaluable in that it at least shows there are so many out there who have not been mesmerised by the politicians and media into believing that right is wrong and wrong is right.

Thank you.

RE: At March, Black Pastor Warns Obama not to Preside over “Genocide” of American Blacks
https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2009/jan/09012311.html

To whom it may concern:

Thank you so very much for the wonderful story of Pastor Luke Robinson’s speech at the Right to Life March.  Only God knows how important this is, and because the editor cares, God used that person to spread the word.

How can it be that we have a government that makes us pay and gives money to other countries to kill babies.  If we could see the baby growing on the outside of the womb and see it suck it’s thumb and stretch it’s little arms, could we still kill it?

Hitler went before the Government and the Government allowed him legally to kill the Jews.  We have killed more babies in this country alone then Hitler killed Jews.

Please continue to help us spread the truth.

God bless you.

Dear Editor,

As I was reading this article, a story that Jesus told came to mind. While teaching about prayer, He told about a persistent man asking for bread from his neighbour to feed visiting friends. Jesus said that because of the man’s persistence the neighbour would get up and give him what he asked for. It struck me that in this fight we must not give up, but keep asking Christ to come and bring the victory. We should not look to our own understanding and see with our physical eyes, because then we will lose hope. In Christ alone is the strength, victory, and the Hope. Praise God!

In another letter to the editor, Jim McCrae (Jan. 22 edition) noted that it took centuries to abolish slavery, but the church did not give up in the fight. Let us not give up in the fight to end abortion either! “Let us not become weary at doing good. For at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up.” – Gal. 6:9

May God has use your articles to stir many more into fervent prayer.

May you be blessed in understanding the fullness of God found in Christ and His wonderful mystery: Christ in us.

Dear Editor,

Today, January 23, 2009, is a very sad day, a day when the leader of the free world overturned the Mexico City Policy, which allows not medicines, bandages, food, or clean water, but condoms, pills, and death by abortion to the rest of the world.  I hope the other countries of the world will reject this false and very dangerous gesture, and protect their people.

Thank you.

Respectfully,
