Is $7400 Enough?

Dear Friends,

$7,400.  That is how much some generous readers have donated so far to ensure LifeSiteNews is able to continue its mission throughout the summer.

We are VERY grateful to those of you who have contributed to this campaign, and to all the donors who have provided us with a total of $82,000 to date this calendar year, including a $10,000 gift given in the name of a recently deceased strong supporter.

Considering that our annual costs are in excess of $350,000, we will need many more contributions from readers to cover our summer expenses.

And so, if you have not yet donated, and you read our reports and believe they make a difference, then please make a membership gift or standard donation today to help us continue this service.

Because our readers pay the bills, it is mostly up to you how LifeSiteNews will continue, and where LSN will be in the future. 

It is a constant struggle to meet the costs of running this international life and family issues news service, nevertheless, we have BIG plans that we are hoping to put into action if YOU make them happen.

• revamped homepage with new functionality and improved appearance
• the addition of a reader's comment section
• a second email option, which will provide readers with a concise, more graphical summary of our reports
• new writers in North America and other countries to provide you with on-site reporting and better insight into international developments
• videos and original LSN media

This type of cutting edge web site and email news service, coupled with our experience in top-notch pro-life and pro-family reporting, will help bring more people to know the truth about the most important issues in the world.

It is so evident how much influence the large media agencies have on our culture.  They swing voter opinion against pro-life politicians while glorifying those who promote the culture of death, continually painting the pro-life and pro-family movement with a negative brush.

This is where our mission lies: to counter this bias by promoting a culture of life and family through fearless and informative reporting, so that far more people will finally have a chance to be exposed to the truth, which will allow them to make better informed decisions.
