Euthanasia Prevention Group: Contact Your MP Now to Vote against Euthanasia Bill

OTTAWA, April 8, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) is urging concerned Canadians to make a last minute push to convince Members of Parliament to vote against Bill C-384, the bill that would legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada.

Alex Schadenberg, the executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, told LifeSiteNews today: “Currently Bill C-384, the bill that was introduced by Francine Lalonde MP (BQ), will is scheduled to receive its second-hour of debate on Tuesday, April 20 and then be voted-on Wednesday, April 21. It is possible that Lalonde will once again trade her time-slot with another MP to delay the second-hour of debate and the vote on Bill C-384, but we must be ready for the vote on Bill C-384 for April 21.”

Schadenberg urged concerned citizens to send a letter or an email to their MPs immediately.

“We must soundly defeat Bill C-384 to discourage other MP’s from also attempting to legalize euthanasia in Canada,” concluded Schadenberg.
