SPAIN TO ALLOW ABORTIFACIENT MORNING AFTER PILL
Pharmacists Urged to Practice Conscientious Objection
MADRID, Feb 20, 2001 (LSN.ca) - According to an official of the Spanish Pharmaceuticals Agency, the abortifacient morning-after pill will be sold in pharmacies throughout the country beginning this month. Catholic pharmacists have urged their colleagues to refuse to distribute the abortifacients acknowledging that there may be some negative backlash including financial loss.
