CHRIS STOCKWELL ANNOUNCES RUN FOR ONTARIO TORY LEADERSHIP
TORONTO, November 28, 2001 (LSN.ca) - Ontario Labour Minister Chris Stockwell announced on Monday his bid to become the Ontario Tory Leader and thus Premier. Campaign Life Coalition records indicate that Stockwell is not pro-life. The Globe and Mail reported November 20 that Stockwell said he is "pro-choice."
LifeSite has learned that Stockwell marched in the gay pride parade in June 1999. Political observers suggest that he is using the run for Premier as a stepping-stone to a campaign to become Mayor of Toronto in 2003.
