HOMOSEXUAL 'MARRIAGE' AND HUMAN REPRODUCTION BILL ON LEGISLATIVE AGENDA

OTTAWA, October 4, 2002 (LSN.ca) - Liberal House leader Don Boudria, outlined the fall legislative agenda in a speech Thursday mentioning issues of concern to social conservatives. Boudria said the government will reinstate and advance The Human Reproduction Bill.

Boudria noted that "the government will bring forward a Resolution on the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol." This session the government will also "seek the views of committees on major policy issues, including a study of marijuana by the special committee on the use of non-medical drugs and the Justice Committee's review of same-sex marriage."
