BILL TO ADD "SEXUAL ORIENTATION" TO CANADIAN HATE CRIMES LAW REINTRODUCED
OTTAWA, October 28, 2002 (lifesitenews.com) - Homosexual activist MP Svend Robinson's previous Bill C- 415, to add "sexual orientation" to hate crimes legislation, was reintroduced in the current session of parliament as Bill C-250. According to new parliamentary procedures, the bill resumes the stage which it reached in the former session of parliament, leaving it before the Justice Committee.
Brian Rushfeldt of the Canada Family Action Coalition told LifeSite that many concerned Canadians should make their views known to the newly formed Justice Committee which includes the following MPs:
Andy Scott; Vic Toews , Kevin Sorenson, Pierrette Venne; Carole-Marie Allard, Bill Blaikie, Garry Breitkreuz, Chuck Cadman; Irwin Cotler; Hedy Fry; Ivan Grose, Derek Lee, Peter MacKay; Paul Harold Macklin; John Maloney; Richard Marceau; John McKay, and Lynn Myers.
