CANADIAN STEM CELL LEGISLATION TO BE DEBATED TUESDAY
CLC urges Canadians to call MPs today
OTTAWA, January 24, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - LifeSite has learned from sources in Ottawa that Bill C-13, the 'Assisted Human Reproduction Act' will be debated in the House of Commons Tuesday, January 28 as well as Wednesday or Thursday this week, the first week parliament is back in session.
The bill allows for destructive research on embryonic humans and is flawed in its definitions of cloning thus failing to effectively ban cloning as it purports to do. Campaign Life Coalition has called on all pro-lifers to contact their MP's and ask them to vote against Bill C-13.
