UPDATE ON CASE OF CHRISTIAN TEACHER DISCIPLINED FOR OBJECTING TO HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA

B.C. College of teachers wants severe penalty for teacher who expressed politically incorrect views

VANCOUVER, February 24, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The case of the public school teacher who is to be reprimanded by the BC College of Teachers for objecting to homosexual activist materials in the classroom continues. Chris Kempling, a long-time teacher, counsellor and well respected member of his community was expected to have a penalty imposed on him February 27. However, the latest reports suggest that date has been postponed to April for legal reasons.

The College rejected the penalty recommendation of one month's suspension by their own penalty review committee, and wish to consider a more severe punishment.
