UK NURSES WANT HEAVIER REGULATIONS ON ABORTION PILL

LONDON, May 2, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Pro-abortionists face a new obstacle in promoting the universal abortion culture -- nurses. In Britain, nurses are pressing for tighter regulations on the way the abortifacient "morning-after" pill (RU-486, now more commonly referred to as Mifepristone) is sold by pharmacists. The call came during the Royal College of Nursing's annual conference this week.

In the UK, the abortifacient pill has been available over the counter for a C$50 charge to women aged 16 and up since 2001.
