Ontario Liberal Party Leader McGuinty Comes Out in Favour of Homosexual 'Marriage'
TORONTO, September 11, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Dalton McGuinty, Leader of the Liberal Party, and according to some polls leading in the quest to become the next Premier of Ontario, has again endorsed homosexual 'marriage.' McGuinty who has often said he is Catholic this time painted himself as a "small-c conservative" while endorsing homosexual 'marriage'.
"Terri and I have the most small-c conservative relationship going -- high school sweethearts, dated for eight years, had four kids in five years, married now 23 years and we are hopelessly in love," he said in comments recorded in the Ottawa Citizen. "I don't feel threatened or offended in any way at all if a gay or lesbian couple chose to marry and I don't see how it's threatening to the future of my children either."
McGuinty's commitment to homosexual activism is long-standing. During the previous election his press secretary revealed publicly that if candidates for the Liberals wanted McGuinty to sign their papers (which he must do if they are to run as Liberals) they must commit to expanding homosexual rights.
