ABORTED BABIES ALLOWED CHRISTIAN BURIAL

LOS ANGELES, Oct 13 (LSN) - On Friday the bodies of 54 aborted babies were handed over to religious groups for Christian burial. The pro-abortion American Civil Liberties Union attempted to file a lawsuit to prevent the burial and have the bodies incinerated. The bodies were discovered in cardboard boxes in a San Bernardino County field in 1997 having been dumped by a trucker for a Los Angeles abortuary.

The babies were buried Sunday following religious services. Bob Shelly, member of Alive Now Christian Center told the Associated Press that the babies were all given names and their own caskets and were buried in three vaults at Crestlawn Cemetery in Riverside. Commenting on the pro-aborts decision to fight the burial plans Shelley said, "it weakens their argument to have the results of abortion become visible."
