REFORM HEALTH CRITIC AT ODDS WITH PARTY'S SOCIAL CONSERVATISM

OTTAWA, Oct 18 (LSN.ca) - Reform Party Health Critic Dr. Keith Martin has asked for a private meeting with Reform Leader Preston Manning today to ask for "clarification" on Manning's presentation of the Reform position on "fetal rights" as expressed in the response to the Speech from the Throne last week. Given Martin's strong support for population control as evidenced by his press release last week, political observers wonder whether Martin is considering abandoning the party.
