It is almost a week into our three-week summer campaign, and donations received have totaled only $7,200 or almost 6% of our necessary $150,000 goal. That is a concerning, unusually slow start.
We strongly suspect this is just an end-of-school-year, beginning-of-holidays and other “lazy days of summer” syndrome, and most have not yet made their intended donation.
