BALTIMORE, Maryland, Oct 21 (LSN.ca) - The Maryland-based Anatomic Gift Foundation (AGF), a baby parts harvesting company, was founded and is currently headed up by Brenda Bardsley and her husband Jim. In an interview with World magazine Mrs. Bardsley complained about being “painted as a monster” for her dealings in baby body parts. She insists that her non-profit business is acceptable to God.

World reports that Mrs. Bardsley says her family attends a Southern Baptist church, and that she homeschools her children with a Christian curriculum and teaches them that abortion is wrong. Bardsley, who says she reads the Bible “all the time” went so far as to say she has   prayed about her business and has “gotten the feeling” that it is acceptable in God’s sight.  “Abortion is legal, but tragic. We see what we’re doing as trying to make the best of a bad situation.we don’t encourage abortion, but we see that good can come from fetal-tissue research. There is so much wonderful research going on - research that can help save the lives of wanted children,” Bardsley told World. She was not, however, able to cite Scripture to justify her hideous industry when challenged by World.  For more LifeSite readers are encouraged to read the World article:  http://www.worldmag.com/world/issue/10-23-99/cover_1.asp
