OTTAWA, May 8 (LSN.ca) - LifeSite has learned that while pro-lifers from across the country converge on parliament for the March for Life this Thursday, Justice Minister Anne McLellan will be testifying before the Senate on the omnibus same-sex Bill C-23. Furthermore, preparations are underway for the Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere Gala which is to take place Thursday night beginning at 6:30pm in Room 200, West Block, Parliament Hill. This year’s event has politicians speaking at the homosexual-activist gala from each political party. Hedy Fry will represent the Liberals, Svend Robinson the NDP, and Scott Brison the PCs. The Reform Party didn’t send a representative last year. This year, however, the Canadian Alliance will be represented at the anti-family event by Alberta MP Rahim Jaffer, who is supporting social liberal Canadian Alliance leader candidate Tom Long.
