LOTHIAN, Scotland, Nov 14 (LSN.ca) - The Scottish pro-life group Parent Truth is fighting a sex-education initiative by the Scottish government which includes a plan to send 14-year-olds birthday cards containing sex and contraception advice. The government is targeting children in schools with graphic sex education and setting up teen sex clinics. The pro-lifers vowed to distribute 20,000 leaflets exposing health minister Susan Deacon as being “responsible for the filth that is going into schools”. Malcolm Chisholm, the deputy health minister derisively dismissed the pro-life concerns saying, “We certainly do not want to get involved in a slanging match with people promoting a minority opinion.”
