WINNIPEG, August 16, 2002 (LSN.ca) - Manitoba Judge Cathy Everett has fined a man convicted of possession of child pornography $10,000 and sentenced him to three years supervised probation. Thomas Woroby, 55, was found to have downloaded the child porn from Internet sites and stored the photos on his computer. In pronouncing her sentence Everett described the plight of the victims of child porn. After being horrified by the photos shown in court as evidence she said: “You just don’t know how those children could ever, ever recover from what’s been done to them and go on to live a healthy existence.”
