OTTAWA, February 9, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Quietly, on a Friday when most MPs are traveling back to their home ridings, the Liberal government attempted to resurrect bills still pending a final vote under Jean Chretien.  However, pro-life MPs in the House raised enough objections to delay the reproductive technologies measure Friday and it was debated again on Monday.  Like Svend Robinson’s homosexual hate crime bill, a re-introduced stem cell bill (previously C-13), would be considered passed in the House and as pending passage in the Senate.  Interestingly, Robinson also slyly presented his motion to resurrect his bill late on a Friday afternoon.
