PARIS, May 3 (LSN.ca) - Communications by upset Catholic parents in France garnered a welcome response from the Vatican regarding condom machines in schools. A Catholic high school in the outskirts of Paris installed the condom machines last September despite complaints from concerned parents. However, the school has promised to remove the machines after receiving a letter from the Vatican which condemned the move. The communication from Rome said giving students access to a condom machine “took all the sense out of a Catholic education, took responsibility away from students and teachers alike, and legitimized behavior which was not acceptable.” See the Catholic World News coverage at: http://www.ewtn.com/vnews/getstory.asp?number=2298
